Secondary Licensure Requirements

The student planning to teach at the high school level completes a major in a discipline and the necessary professional studies courses for teacher licensure at the secondary level (grades 9-12).

Secondary education licensure is available in biologycomprehensive scienceEnglish, history, and mathematics (B.S. or A.B.) . In general, the professional studies courses below must be satisfactorily completed.

Students majoring in Mathematics with teacher licensure will take MTH 3090 in lieu of EDU 3050.
