MGT 3230 PRINCIPLES OF MANAGEMENT AND ORGANIZATIONAL BEHAVIOR
This course prepares students for the challenges of management and leadership in the dynamic new workplace of the 21st century. The course examines the central role of management in the efficient and effective production of goods and services. Students will learn how strategic and operational planning, job design, organizational structure, and human behavior affect operations in manufacturing and service industries. Organizational behavior topics include leadership and ethics, motivation and rewards, communication, and teams and teamwork. The global dimensions of management are also emphasized.
