ENS 2440 NATURAL RESOURCES MANAGEMENT AND SUSTAINABILITY
This course will examine interactions between natural resource use and environmental sustainability. We live in a world with ever increasing human population, food production and natural resource demands that impact the sustainability of our world. This course will consider policy related to human activity in our world. Environmental issues will be presented from multiple perspectives, including those of environmental managers, policy makers, a variety of land users and the community at large. Primary focus will include policies, economics, and social-connections associated with sustainable lifestyles and food production. Satisfies the society requirement of the Elon Core Curriculum program. Offered spring.
