Organizations succeed or fail in today’s dynamic environment based on the ability to bring quality products and services to market in a timely manner. Without skilled project managers leading these efforts, organizations are challenged to deliver projects on time, on budget, and within scope. Regardless of the industry or mission, project management is the value driver that helps organizations maximize the use of their resources and achieve strategic goals.
A Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a major in Project Management requires the completion of the Elon Core Curriculum as well as the Major Requirements listed below.

Study abroad students may transfer one management elective to the major provided they have taken MGT 3230.
For students majoring in two or more majors offered in the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship, BUS 3260 and one of ECO 3500, ECO 3100, or ECO 3110 may be counted in more than one major. However, all other Management and Entrepreneurship courses eligible to count in multiple majors may only count in one. For example, while MGT 3100 is either a required or elective course in the Business Analytics, Project Management, and Human Resource Management majors, it may only be counted once. This rule against double counting would not apply for students seeking a major and a minor.
Program Outcomes
Demonstrate proficiency with MS Project in project initiation, scheduling, monitoring, control and project closure.
Demonstrate through team and individual exercises proficiency in managing cross- functional teams that must work together to complete a complex project.
Demonstrate proficiency with Oracle Crystal Ball software in managing complex project simulations.
Demonstrate knowledge of the accepted global standards, guidelines, rules and characteristics of project management as expressed in the PMBOK®.
