Admissions Requirements and Procedures
Admission to the Elon PA program is highly competitive. Each application is evaluated on its own merits. Admission decisions are based on all academic work (including overall GPA and science GPA), GRE scores, letters of recommendation, interview scores, patient care experience, demonstrated service and leadership ability. Motivation, maturity, interpersonal skills, knowledge of the PA profession and the health care system and the mission of the Elon PA program are also considered.
The Elon PA program participates in the Central Application Service for Physician Assistants (CASPA). All applicants will apply online using the CASPA application. To apply, visit caspa.liaisoncas.com.

A minimum TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based), 213 (computer-based) or 79 (Internet-based) is required for admission to any graduate program at Elon. Exceptions to this requirement may be considered under special circumstances.

Transfer Credits
Students enrolled in the Elon PA program are not permitted to transfer credits from another graduate program.
Continuation Standards
Elon PA students who fail to maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 will be placed on academic probation. Any student who receives a second unsatisfactory ('U') grade is subject to dismissal from the program. If a student is dismissed from the program, the student may appeal by employing the Elon University appeals process as detailed in the PA Student Handbook. For consideration for re-admission into the program, the student must compete with the new applicants for the program.
