Disabilities Services
Students with documented disabilities (learning disabilities, ADD/ADHD, vision impairment, hearing impairment, mobility problems, psychological disabilities, health related problems, etc.) may request services and/or appropriate accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act, its Amendments, the Rehabilitation Act, and other state and federal laws. Students who need to discuss such needs should contact the Office of Disability Services (Coordinator: Susan Wise; Assistant Coordinator: Tina Kissell). The staff will consult with the student to arrange for appropriate classroom, campus, and/or other needed accommodations. Students may call 278-6500 for more information or come by the Academic Support and Advising Center in Duke 108. Additional information may also be found at www.elon.edu/disabilities or by contacting the University's ADA Coordinator, Dr. Jana Lynn Patterson in the Office of Student Health and Wellness (R.N. Ellington Center for Health and Wellness) at patters@elon.edu .
