ELEM 300 Reading & Language Arts
A reading methods course examining research-based language arts frameworks that candidates will encounter in the elementary school. Candidates implement strategies that build upon their understandings of the reading research in phonemic awareness, phonic and structural analysis, and comprehension. Candidates will begin a major reading research project which will be considered as one of the required Evidences of Professional Competency.
Prerequisite
Admission to the Teacher Education Program and
EDUC 250.
