BUS 4009 Exploring the World of Business: Launching Your Business Career II
This seminar focuses on preparing graduating seniors for their career start. A business communication refresher is completed early in the year and then the focus turns to additional networking opportunities (business chamber mixer and the BSB Career Fair) and evaluating career options. Cost of living and earning differentials throughout the United States are explored, and students learn how to evaluate an offer package (healthcare benefits, salary, commission compensation, and other benefits). Additional sessions include discussions on debt management and building wealth. Required for all business majors.
