HCS 4930 Humanities Seminar I

An interdisciplinary course closely examining the ways self-knowledge, democracy, equity, sustainability, and/or the natural world are conceptualized and addressed in classic and contemporary literary, philosophical, musical, and artistic works. While works from other countries may be addressed, the course primarily covers culturally diverse American perspectives. A variety of texts and genres are explored in this discussion-based seminar.
