OT 1004 Occupation as Therapy
Provides an introduction to occupational therapy as a profession, including an introduction to key professional organizations and traditional and emerging practice settings. Continued development of a student learning community for occupational therapy majors. Professional writing skills, use of APA, and medical terminology are also covered - 1 lecture hour. Students may also complete volunteer hours as required for the Health Science/Pre-Occupational Therapy major. Prerequisites:
OT 1001,
OT 1002,
OT 1003, or permission of instructor.
