GPH 3330 Applied Biostatistics
Statistics is everywhere, in the media, the sciences, and in life, but beyond the theory lies the application of these tools. This course offers a practical, hands on approach to working with open-sourced data, selecting appropriate statistical tests, data interpretation and visualization. Applied statistical models will range from basic descriptive statistics to more advanced multivariate regression analyses, calculated using statistical software packages. Pre-requisite for students in the major: Psych 3187 or consent of instructor - 4 lecture hours.
