Our Division is ready to respond to community needs, offer comprehensive educational services, assist students with their training needs and support economic development initiatives by fulfilling the personal and career ambitions of our community.

Continuing Education

Continuing Education provides educational services to meet the individual’s needs in preparing for a new career, enhancing their professional skills or exploring new interests. Students will find a variety of career training programs available to both the College student and the nontraditional student with daytime, evening and online course offerings. Our enrichment courses are designed to expand an individual's personal, professional, cultural, and recreational interests. These classes are designed to promote lifelong learning and are available for adults and children of all ages.

Continuing Education Unit (CEU)

Many courses offer Continuing Education Units which may be used to meet state or professional requirements. A Continuing Education Unit (CEU) is a reporting unit defined as ten contact hours of participation in an organized continuing education experience. A student may request a Continuing Education transcript for personal or professional use to demonstrate successful completion of a course, hours awarded, and CEUs earned.

Admission Requirements

Admission to most programs is open to anyone 17 years of age or older, regardless of educational background. A limited number of courses specify certain prerequisites. Completion of registration forms and payment of tuition and lab fees (where applicable) are required for admission.

Tuition and fees are subject to changes that might be deemed advisable by the Board of Regents. See course schedule for current tuition/fees.

Refund Policy

Refunds of tuition and fees may be made under these conditions:

  1. A 100% refund will be made automatically if the College exercises its right to cancel a class or if a class is full at the time your registration is received.
  2. A 100% refund will be honored if requested by midnight of the first day of class.
