Course Description
PHYS 1401. COLLEGE PHYSICS I (3-3-4) Principles of mechanics and heat for pre-dental, pre-medical, architecture, biology and geology majors; suggested for teachers preparing to teach general science or other science courses. Prerequisites: MATH 1314 College Algebra AND MATH 1316 Plane Trigonometry or MATH 2312 Pre-Calculus. Credit allowed for only one of the following: PHYS 1305, PHYS 1310, PHYS 1401 or PHYS 2425. MATH 1314 and
MATH 1316 or
MATH 2312. Must have a level 3 in Reading and Math and a level 1 in English.
