Course Description
HITT 1301. HEALTH DATA CONTENT AND STRUCTURE (2-2-3) Introduction to systems and processes for collecting, maintaining, and disseminating primary and secondary health-related information including content of health record, documentation requirements, registries, indices, licensing, regulatory agencies, forms, and screens. Enrollment in this course must be by permission of the Program Director. Assessment Levels: R3, E3, M2. 51.0707
Prerequisite(s)
Must have level 3 in Reading, English, and a level 2 in Math. Requires acceptance into the Health Information Technology Program.
