Course Prerequisites and Co-Requisites
Pre-requisites and co-requisites (also known as concurrent pre-requisites) are two kinds of entry requirements for particular courses. You must satisfy pre-requisites, or their equivalent, before registering for a course. You must enroll in a co-requisite course at the same time you register in the other course. In most cases, you can register for the other course if you have already successfully completed the co-requisite. Pre-requisites and co-requisites are identified in a course's description. All courses and their respective course descriptions can be found in the Course Descriptions section of the Catalog.
