This plan does fit most but not all Bachelor of Applied Science (Digital Mapping) and Bachelor of Science in Geographic Information Science (GIS) programs at all universities. Students are advised to consult an academic advisor concerning specific transfer to BAS, BS and BA programs in GIS Geology, Geography and Environmental Science. Students must check specific requirements of the college or university to which they plan to transfer. The student should be especially cognizant of choices applied to Life and Physical Sciences (BIOL, CHEM, GEOL or PHYS w/lab) and SRVY 2340, ENGR 1304 or DFTG 1309 and GISC 1191 as to how they pertain to the student’s chosen transfer plan into BA, BS or BAS university programs.
