Course Description
SLNG 2401. INTERPRETING I (2-4-4) An overview of the interpreting process and models of interpretation. Introduces the skills necessary to achieve dynamic message equivalence in interpreting American Sign Language (ASL) to English and English to ASL. Prerequisites: SGNL 1301, 1302; ENGL 1301. Must have level 3 in Reading and English, and level 2 in Math.
