Course Description

ITSC 1358. UNIX SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION I (2-4-3) Basic UNIX workstation administration. Includes installing a standalone system, adding users, backing up and restoring file systems, and adding new printer support. Emphasis on the procedures needed to perform system administration tasks. Introduces the concept of the system and disk management. Prerequisite: ITSC 1305 or ITSC 1405. Assessment Levels: R1, E1, M1. 11.0101
