HIST 2301. TEXAS HISTORY (3-0-3) Survey of the history of Texas from 1500 to more recent times; emphasis on variety of influences from Indian, Spanish and American cultures; the political and economic evolution of the state; the social significance of the multi-ethnic character of the state's population.
