Course Description

Second semester of chemistry for students in nonscience and/or technical applied science majors and for majors in some baccalaureate nursing programs. Continuation of the fundamentals of inorganic and organic chemistry, including selected biochemistry concepts, gases, liquids and solids, solutions, chemical equilibria, oxidation/reduction, electrochemistry and nuclear chemistry. Credit not given for both this course and CHEM 1412. Prerequisites: CHEM 1405 or 1406, or permission of the department chairperson.

Must have level 3 in Reading and English and level 2 in Math
