This course provides an in-depth exploration of the diverse cultures and societies of the Arab world, focusing on the historical, social, intellectual, and artistic traditions that have shaped the region. Through readings, discussions, and multimedia, students will examine the construction of Arab identity, the impact of colonialism, and contemporary issues such as gender dynamics, globalization, and the role of art and media in Arab societies.
