Recruitment and Retention
Columbus Technical College places campus-wide emphasis on attracting and retaining its students. The College has in place recruiting and retention plans that identify activities applicable to these efforts. Recruiting activities include visits to service-area high schools and businesses to discuss Columbus Technical College and to assist interested persons with admissions. Retention activities include contacting absentees, tutorial assistance, referrals for counseling, and the TCSG Early Alert Management System (TEAMS). TEAMS is designed to identify students who may be demonstrating behaviors that show they may be at risk of academic difficulty or failure in their educational endeavors at Columbus Technical College.
