ECCE 1102 Early Intervention for Autism (EIA) Tutor Clinical Practicum
Provides the student with the opportunity to gain a supervised experience in a clinical lab setting allowing demonstration of techniques obtained from course work. The student will work on a team which includes a physician and other medical professionals who are also working with the diagnosed. The student will assist in collecting frequency data, interval data, and duration data during the internship. The internship will include activities involving behavior support, ABC model, environmental impact on diagnosed, functional and nonfunctional skills, and data collection.
