Radiologic Technology, Associate of Applied Sciences- RT23

The Associate Degree of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology brings the student into an area of high technology in the field of medicine. The student will experience all the applications of diagnostic imaging, including routine radiography and fluoroscopy, trauma radiography, surgical and mobile radiography, pediatric radiography, as well as subspecialties such as computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound (US), nuclear medicine (NM) and radiation therapy.

The program graduate is eligible to sit for the national certification examination administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), which awards a national certification in Radiologic Technology. The partnerships the college has with area hospitals and clinics will provide the student the benefits of on-the-job training in a clinical setting.

Hospital imaging departments, clinics, physicians' offices, and diagnostic centers seek graduates with this degree.

This is a competitive admissions program. Please see the Admissions section of the Student Handbook/Catalog for more information. Additional program accreditation and data for Radiologic Technology can be found on the college webpage, Division of Health Sciences and Nursing page .
