The General Studies associate degree is a sequence of courses that prepare students to pursue a four-year degree in liberal arts, mathematics, science or social science or for careers in multiple fields of studies. Learning opportunities develop academic and professional knowledge and skills required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement. The degree emphasizes training in the areas mathematics and science. Graduates are exposed to situations that will assist them in creating skills necessary to succeed in the profession of their choice and to further their education at a four-year university.
