THR 230 Theory and Criticism
This class will explore significant critical schools of analysis in regards to the making and interpretation of theatre. By the end of the course, students will be conversant in major schools of critical theatre theory through history, be able to engage analytically with literary and performance texts, generate creative and original scholarship related to the course materials, and coherently present sections of their work to the class.
