LAS 350 Culture and Identity in Modern Mexico

This course will focus on the intersections of many cultures that have come to make up the modern Yucatán. I will structure this course around lectures, reading, site visits, and discussions. The class will focus on the following themes: Education, Medicine, Religion and Nationality, Violence, and Mestizaje.
