FLM 310 Global Cinema
Cinema is a global art form, and this course introduces students to major international movements in film history and world classics from the early years of film to the present day. Film's marriage of sound and image can communicate in both culturally specific and universal terms, and the course will follow different films' engagement with topics like war, love, travel, family, technology, and individual and community identity.
