CHE 135 Accelerated General Chemistry
An accelerated coverage of general chemistry for students with strong high school chemistry preparation. Many topics, such as stoichiometry and gas laws, are only briefly reviewed. Topics treated in more detail include atomic and molecular theory, chemical bonding theories, kinetics, equilibrium processes, acids and bases, and chemical thermodynamics. Laboratory work is required. Students who complete CHE 135 may not register for CHE 131 or CHE 132; students who complete CHE 131 or CHE 132 may not register for CHE 135.
