PSY 375 Influence and Persuasion

A survey of the empirical literature on social influence and persuasion, with an emphasis on application. Topics include compliance tactics, persuasion, advertising and propaganda, minority influence, reciprocity and revenge, societal and group responses to deviance (including ostracism and bullying), and resisting influence.
