HIS 328 Churchill’s World

During the course of Winston Churchill’s long life, (1874-1965), Britain and the world experienced dramatic upheavals that created the modern world. Using Churchill as our touchstone, we will explore Victorian Britain, the British Empire, World War I, the Roaring Twenties, the Depression, the rise of fascism, World War II, the Cold War, the end of Empire and the Beatles.
