GER 410 The German Stage

A conversation course using informal student re-enactment of scenes from landmarks of German language drama; readings and rehearsals from plays by Lessing, Goethe, Schiller, Kleist, Büchner, Brecht, Borchert, Frisch, and Jelinek (works spanning the 18th to the 20th century). No experience in theatre or acting is required.
