Cultural Resources Management Certificate
This Undergraduate Certificate in Cultural Resource Management, is offered jointly through the Departments of History and Anthropology/Geography/Tourism. It will appeal to students interested in cultural heritage and filling critical workforce needs in the Northeast. Archaeology (and History) employment in Connecticut and the United States is largely driven by compliance with federal laws. Students can pair the certificate with a History or Anthropology major, and/or a Public History or Archaeology minor in consultation with a program advisor. The Certificate will prepare students for a post-baccalaureate degree program in Archeology, Public History, Historic Preservation, Planning, or other related field.
