BMS 420 Cell Biological Techniques

An introduction to common techniques used in cell biology laboratories. Includes protein assays, electrophoresis, Western Blots, PCR, qPCR, and immunohistochemistry. Covers the background and mechanism of each method, including data analysis and statistics, troubleshooting and appropriate use in research. Two 2-hour periods per week.
