SPAN 228 Spanish for the Health Professions II
This is an advanced Spanish course designed for students majoring in the health professions. It continues building on the content and skills learned in SPAN 227 so the students can become more proficient at interacting with their patients and performing routine tasks related to health care. This course focuses on developing the students’ oral proficiency; therefore, the course involves pair and group activities as well as oral and vocabulary reports, and video projects.
