Tuition and Fee totals listed above are for legal residents of Georgia and legal residents of South Carolina in bordering counties (Aiken, Allendale, Barnwell, Edgefield, and McCormick). Fees include: Tuition ($100 per credit hour, unless otherwise indicated), Student Activity Fee ($55 per term), Registration Fee ($90 per term), Transportation Fee ($5 per term/Augusta campus only), Supplemental Accident Insurance ($6 per term), Instructional Fee ($60 per term), Technology Fee ($110 per term), Campus Safety Fee ($50 per term), Parking/Facilities Fee ($85 per term), and Program Fee ($50 per term). Program Fees will not be charged to students in Cardiovascular, Echocardiography, and Vascular programs.  These students are charged a Program Fee of $370.   Students receiving adequate financial aid may agree to have these fees withheld from their financial aid award.

 

  • Students enrolled in Barbering, Cosmetology, Early Childhood Care/Education, and School of Health Sciences academic programs are required to pay an additional liability insurance fee of $6.00. The liability insurance is paid each term with tuition and fees. Students receiving adequate financial aid may agree to have these fees withheld from their financial aid award.
  • Students enrolled in Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, and Welding programs, as well as students registered for a Biology lab are required to pay an additional supply fee of $65.00.  The supply fee is paid each term with tuition and fees.  Students receiving adequate financial aid may agree to have these fees withheld from their financial aid award. 
  • Students enrolled in RADT 1320 will be required to pay $200 to cover the cost of Trajecsys Corp Access/ACEMAP Collaboration - Piedmont Clinical Clearance.
  • Students enrolled in RADT 2260 will be required to pay $80 to cover the cost of Corectec Access - Review Software.
  • Cybersecurity students registered for classes at the Georgia Cyber Innovation and Training Center located downtown are required to pay an additional fee of $50.00.  The fee is paid each term with tuition and fees.  This cost recovery fee will allow students to park on the Augusta University Forest Hills campus in and around Christenberry Fieldhouse.  The student parking permit also includes passage on the Augusta University JagExpress shuttles during normal operational hours.  A fee of 10.00 is required to cover the ID badge to enter the training center.  These fees are covered for students receiving adequate financial aid along with other tuition and fees.
  • A non-refundable Late Registration Fee of $45.00 is assessed after classes begin.

 

South Carolina residents living in other counties other than those listed above and other out-of-state residents pay two times the tuition ($200) per credit hour for associate degree, diploma, and certificate programs.

 

Foreign students pay four times the tuition ($400 per credit hour for associate degree and diploma programs) required for Georgia residents. This applies to non-immigrant aliens, those on I-20 Foreign Student Visas, and foreign students to include diplomatic, consular mission, and other non-consular personnel. Foreign immigrants who are permanent residents shall pay the same tuition as citizens of Georgia.

 

Senior Citizens - Residents of Georgia who are 62 years of age or older may request a waiver of tuition. This policy applies to regular and college credit courses only. Waiver of fees and tuition does not apply to continuing education courses, noncredit courses, or seminars. If tuition is waived under this policy, admission will be granted only on a space-available basis. Senior citizens must meet all other admission requirements as specified in the College catalog. Proof of age must be presented at registration to receive a tuition waiver.
