ESCI 1150 WATER TREATMENT PROCESSES AND DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS
This course provides an introduction to water operations and the basic skills and knowledge needed to advance in this industry. The course content includes an overview of water treatment processes, distribution systems as well as terminology and equipment used in the water industries. Students are introduced to the fundamental concepts of chemistry and mathematics that relate to water treatment. Laboratory techniques used in the analysis of water in water/wastewater treatment plants are introduced. Regulations, licensing and the certification process are also examined in this course.
