SPED 505 Special Education Law, IEP Development, and Transition Planning

This course equips candidates with the knowledge and skills to navigate the legal, procedural, and collaborative responsibilities of special educators. Candidates develop competencies in IEP development, transition planning, family engagement, and cross-disciplinary teamwork. Emphasis is placed on procedural fidelity, ethical practice, culturally responsive collaboration, and high-quality service delivery.
