DNC 347 Decolonizing the Moving Body
Students will examine the influence and impact of cultural and sociopolitical systems of power on the way individuals experience, inhabit, and communicate through their bodies. Emphasis on the training, performance, representation, and accessibility within Dance and other related movement forms, and the parallel organizational structures within those areas throughout history.
