CSC 7020 Theory of Artificial Intelligence

This course focuses on things that make machines think and act like humans or other natural intelligent agents.  Students will learn how classical AI and cognitive science claimed that cognition is computation.  This course will also focus on other computing machines, possibly surpassing the abilities of human intelligence.  Students will also learn how AI comes under threat and the agenda for the philosophy and theory of AI must be set anew, re-defining the relation between AI and Cognitive Science.
