NURS 3211 Health Communication

This course focuses on effective communication with patiences, families, groups, and health care professionals. Principles of interpersonal communication and public speaking in health care settings are utilized. The goals of the course are to cultivate the students' imagination and creativity through mastery of the technical skills needed to become effective communicators within healthcare contexts. Students will become familiar with fundamental communication processes that are involved in managing physical and mental health.
