IPED 6320 Interdisciplinary Artificial Intelligence Applications:
This is a hands-on course designed to immerse students in the practical application of artificial intelligence across various fields such as healthcare, business, education, STEM, environmental science, creative industries, interfaith practices, and more. This course aims to bridge the gap between theoretical AI concepts and their real-world applications, focusing on solving practical problems using AI tools and techniques. Through engaging with case studies, hands-on projects, and collaborative work, students will learn how to apply AI to improve efficiency, enhance decision-making, and solve complex challenges in their respective domains. The course is application-centered, encouraging students to explore AI's potential to transform office work, data storytelling, web development, and interactive media, among others. By the end of the course, students will have developed a portfolio of AI projects demonstrating their ability to harness AI technology for interdisciplinary applications.
