PSYC 3345 Sports Psychology

This course presents the scientific study of individuals or groups and their behaviors in sport and exercise activities and introduces students to the psychological and physical mechanisms involved. The course draws upon social, personality, learning, and developmental psychology as well as exercise physiology and motor learning. This course is intended as an introductory course for students who wish to work with athletes in some capacity and increase awareness of career opportunities in the field of sports psychology.
