METR 1370 Introduction to Aviation Meteorology
This course teaches the student how the atmosphere and weather affect flight and how weather support is provided to aviation operations. This course is recommended for students who want to prepare for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) flight certifications for aircraft pilots or drone operators; in particular, the course covers the aviation weather support systems that will be on the certification test. The course prepares students to complete the FAA Flight Ground School meteorology sections.
