HCSC 4330 Interprofessional Communication
This course focuses on effective communication with patients, families, groups, and healthcare professionals. Principles of interpersonal communication and public speaking in healthcare settings are utilized. The principles of the interprofessional team approach are discussed to provide with an optimal patient-centered care. Students will be exposed to the roles and requirements of various healthcare fields and learn how various professionals can work together to improve collaboration in patient care.
