HCSC 3360 Lower Extremity Orthopedic Case Management

This course presents an overview of injury management for the lower extremity. Each body segment will have a detailed review of the skeletal framework, articulation, musculature, innervation, and how each affects body position and movement during activity. Students will engage with course material through the purview of common signs, symptoms, pathomechanics, and applied interventions of a multitude of injuries and conditions needed by the healthcare professional to understand underlying tissues and movements from the standpoint of physical injury, assessment, and rehabilitation.
