HCSC 3260 Introduction to Pathology and Pharmacology for the Healthcare Provider II

This course focuses on the pathophysiology of prominent acute and chronic diseases of the major body systems. Students will study the interdependency of body systems and the conditions that affect human health and well-being. The areas to be reviewed will include endocrine system disorders, psychiatric disorders and substance abuse, digestive system disorders, urinary and reproductive system disorders. In addition, the specific pharmacological approaches that are most prevalent in treating pathological conditions will also be covered during this course.
