HCSC 2310 Introduction to Healthcare Sciences

This introductory course focuses on the field experience, development of knowledge, understanding and clinical skills for safe practice in healthcare settings. Emphasis is placed on the theory and skills related to patient interaction and assessment, infection control, professional responsibilities and conduct, and the role of evidence in patient-centered care.  This course will require field experience outside the traditional classroom setting.
