ATHP 4310 Psychosocial Strategies and Referral

This course focuses on understanding the psychological and socio-cultural factors relative to exercise, injury, inactivity, and rehabilitation following injury. Strategies for identifying problems, intervening, and making referral are presented. Performance issues, psychological disorders, and health/substance abuse concerns will be explored along with basic counseling skills.
