DPT 8618 Professional Practice Education 3
The last experience in the Professional Practice Education sequence, this 12-week full-time professional practice experience requires the student to integrate the knowledge and skills from all previous academic and clinical coursework. Students have selected a patient setting in which they would like more in-depth experience and skill enhancement. By the end of this experience students are expected to be at entry level in all applicable areas of the CPI (see minimal expectations) and be prepared for entry level practice with independence in all aspects of patient/client management.
Prerequisite
Enrolled full-time in the professional program with satisfactory completion of all course work to date.
